Positive: Well, this was exactly as it looked like when we choose it on the Booking :) We saw some negative reviews about the location being "far from everything" - and I can say, it is not true. Of course, if you make a smart move and rent a bike. If you do not ride, I would definitely NOT recommend staying here because you will not feel how cool this place actually is! So, by bike, it takes you 2 minutes to the nearest hilltop bar with stunning view! Or, go for breakfast to one of the fanciest cafes of the island called @The Hideaway Cafe. Add 2 more minutes, and you are on the beach - one of the least crowded and most clean beaches on the island! At the beach you find a lot of weed shops, massage spas, street food, fruits, cafes. All at a very nice and reasonable price, may be 5-10% more expensive than you can find in the big supermarket... but the key is it's all effortless! and it is in less than 5 min from your villa! Ready to drive the bike 5 more minutes? You get to the Banana beach, very cozy, and with very very very beautiful road heading to it! Elephant farm? 2-3 minutes from the beach. Want more massage or new cafe? Go towards the airport (which is 12 min drive from the villa, but because of the hills you do not hear any noise from the planes!). In the airport area there is a night market, lots of shops, nice spa, restaurants... If you decide to go to Patong or Old Town, it's 30-40 min drive, most via a nice road with not too many cars. So, the location is in fact the best you can find! But - remember, you need a bike! Regarding the villa itself - all is spacious, everything worked well, bedrooms are nice and big and clean, with a lot of light! The pool is nice, not too deep, but good. It is also very important to say the villa is inside a complex with 24h security, you can always get help, and you feel very safe. This is one of the best places we found so far in Thai!

Negative: In one of the room constant noise from the pool filter system may be annoying - what if some extra sound protection can be done? Last but not least - the chair on the patio are nice and strong, but not very comfortable. We have seen 2 old nice recliners, I hope the owner will renew it or add some extra more :) Everything else was perfect!

Positive: It was everything we needed and more, set in a secluded private estate with a great pool and gardens and every possible facility inside the immaculately-kept villa.

Negative: There was nothing that we didn’t like about the Villa but getting there from the airport was a challenge because the taxi driver could not find the address. You might say that that was because we had a particularly useless driver (and I would agree) but that didn’t help us. Nor does the Sakoo villa resort feature on taxi apps like Bolt. It would be helpful in future for the address given to be findable on popular gps/location maps. We relied on using the name of the next door The LifeCo wellness centre.

Summary: The Villa was perfect for us and we were very happy with our holiday there.
