Positive: The beds were extremely comfortable. All the bathrooms were luxurious. All the furniture and fittings were of a very high standard. The view out from the balcony, was panoramic, and was amazing both in the morning, and at night, with sun-sets over the sea. The location was central enough to be not far from bars and restautants, but having a car makes this easier as there is a steep hill up to the house. However, the location was far enough away to make it a peaceful location. The photos don't quite do this property justice, as the layout provides three separate living spaces, which would accomodate 3 separate families, including a useful home office space. The electric operated pool cover, and sun shades gave a five star feel.

Negative: The pool itself was quite shallow, and not as big as we would have liked, with no deep end, so no diving. The pool didn't quite match up with the grandeur of the rest of this property. We asked for a smoothy maker, and the response by the host seemed to be generic, and did not match our request.

Summary: Overall this was an exceptional house, but the pool was a bit small.

Positive: The nicest villa we have ever stayed in. Very spacious, light, modern, extremely clean with massive comfy beds and lovely bedding, plenty of fresh towels. Robes & slippers were an added bonus. Loads of storage, wardrobe space and hangers. Villa had all appliances and kitchen equipment anyone could possibly need. Multiple fridges and cooking options. Hairdryers and toiletries in every bathroom and televisions on all the bedrooms and the two lounges. Lovely quality outdoor tables and seating space/loungers. There was an outdoor kitchen and pizza oven and barbecue. The pool had a heated cover which was great. A lot of thought and attention to detail has gone into this property, it’s amazing with sea views and in a very quiet area.

Negative: We were told the hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived and it was unlikely to be fixed, this remained out of action for the duration of our stay. We had a problem with cold showers in the downstairs bathrooms on our first night. After contacting the host, they came out to resolve this within half an hour- an excellent service! The property is on a steep hill, the whole area is very steep and the nearest couple of restaurants/bars are at least a 10-15minute walk away. We did not hire a car and I would say the villa is not suitable for those with walking difficulties or the frail/elderly. My Dad struggled to walk around the area although we were able to get taxis easy enough.

Summary: We had an amazing stay, Villa Augusta’s is 100% a 5star Villa, great for large families and groups.
