Positive: We (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed for 10 days at Villa Aquila, and it was an absolutely perfect base for exploring Umbria and parts of Tuscany. The accommodation is fantastic! Everything looks brand new, is spotlessly clean, and meticulously maintained. The air conditioning keeps the indoor climate wonderfully comfortable on hot days, and the infinity pool offers the perfect relaxation after wandering through both the famous and lesser-known beautiful towns of Italy. The location of the property is phenomenal! The view over the surrounding landscape never gets old. The villa is far enough from the village to provide the peace and quiet you’re looking for, yet close enough to shops and the motorway so you don’t have to spend an hour in the car just to get groceries. There are spacious, partly covered parking spaces, so your car stays cool and shaded from the afternoon sun. And then there are the owners—truly wonderful people. They give you complete privacy, yet are always ready to offer any support you might need. Exceptionally kind and welcoming! We highly recommend Villa Aquila

Positive: Super easy to meet up with the owner who had allowed us to check in early, really early, like 10AM. The owner speaks very little English and we speak very little Italian, but between the two of us, it was more than enough to get properly shown around and how to use everything. Communication throughout the stay was not an issue at all. I too was little confused by the negative comments about farm animals. There are two sweet dogs that are incredibly well behaved and a very friendly cat, none of whom were intrusive. The home is set just outside of the village of Agello and has a beautiful view overlooking the valley. There is an amazing infinity edge swimming pool fully decked out with new pool furniture and a wonderful little balcony equipped with table and chairs to take in the beautiful evenings. The hosts were really responsive when we had any questions. Not that I think there are any issues in the area with crime, but the apartment has super secure windows and front door for anyone with concerns about leaving valuables when touring around. Not much else to say other than this is really a nice gem if you are looking for something quiet, off the beaten track, that is easy access to places on Lake Trasimeno or the city of Perugia as well as all the great towns/wineries, etc. that are around here.
Summary: Perfect location in the Lake Trasimeno region. Easy to get to, very neat and tidy.

Positive: Beautiful big italian house with 5 apartments. It was extremely clean, apartment is equipped with everything one needs. We were welcomed with some snacks and drinks which was nice. We had a wonderful stay there- it’s very quite, we slept like babies, air condition in both rooms (kitchen and bedroom). We had freshly renovated apartment and very modern. Owners live in one of the apartments- they are very friendly, even us not speaking Italian and them English- we were able to communicate easily. They offered us fresh veggies from their garden, and were giving us space and privacy we needed. There is roofed parking spot for cars which is great in the summer heat. We had keys to the gate and were able to leave as we pleased. We loved the pool- very clean and modern with a lot of sunbeds, we chilled there with pleasure. Owners have 2 friendly dogs and 2 cats, they come to say hi at the parking lot, but are not bothering while we stay at the pool (place is fanced). Overall our stay was amazing, place is quite and great for relaxation and close by to the main attractions like Assisi, Siena etc.

Positive: Beautiful peaceful location with incredibly friendly hosts. The apartment was modern and very clean. I was surprised to see a complaint about their animals in another review because their cat and two dogs are the sweetest pets and make the stay even more special.

Positive: The location is beautiful, the place is modern and EXTREMELY CLEAN. The hosts are there just the right amount, they give you all privacy and freedom you need to feel at home. The view from the pool is mesmerizing. Absolutely great experience.
