Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely villa, good amenities and good parking. However, there are many lovely villas around Como, I would recommend staying elsewhere and being treated like a guest for the money you pay - see experience below.

Negative: Check out was at 10:00am, however at about 9:15am people started showing up and pushing us out. Someone showed up to take a boat out at 9:15ish, then cleaners and staff at about 9:30-9:45am. You pay over a thousand euros per night and not only have to take your trash up 5mins the road, but they fined us 100€ for cleaners having to do this (rubbish was all packed up and ready to go). We felt pressured to leave with everyone showing up and subsequently had a miscommunication with the check out staff about us removing our rubbish. We asked if they could do this and they said yes, no mention of an extra 100 at the time. I would say our experience is not an exception given the number and lack of detailed reviews on such a long standing villa.

Summary: Lovely villa, not worth the poor hospitality.
