Positive: Firstly, Alex and Olga are exceptional hosts! Friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. Our group of 7 had the most wonderful stay at Villa Alex. The property is absolutely stunning. The decor is beautiful throughout, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every facility you could possibly need is available, making our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The thoughtful touches truly set this place apart. Alex and Olga had prepared a fantastic welcome spread for us including bottled water, bread, cheese, fruit, coffee, and even vodka! It was such a lovely gesture that immediately made us feel at home. The accommodation worked perfectly for our group. The main villa has three gorgeous bedrooms that comfortably slept 6, whilst the youngest couple of our party had complete privacy in the separate studio apartment. This self-contained unit has everything needed – a double bed, full kitchen, and bathroom – making it ideal for those who want a bit of independence while still being part of the group. Each room has air-conditioning units which were absolutely essential and very welcome during the warm Corfu weather. We also appreciated the fly screens on every window and door, allowing us to keep the villa bug-free. The pool was a delight and an absolute highlight! We spent countless hours lounging by and swimming in the crystal-clear water. It's beautifully maintained and the perfect size for our group. Location-wise, Villa Alex couldn't be better positioned. Situated in the west of Corfu, it's roughly 30 minutes from Corfu Town, giving easy access to the island's main attractions while maintaining that peaceful, away-from-it-all feeling. The location also provides excellent accessibility to explore both the northern and southern parts of the island. Note that due to its location, a car (or bike/quad) is essential. We cannot recommend Villa Alex highly enough.

Positive: Alex and Olga the BEST homeowners I have ever met. If we ask anything, they Help inmediatelly. The House is Like in the Pictures, or even Better... The Pool was very Clean and amazing. They give us a Lot of information for good places , food, and Restaurants. When WE Go Back, I Sure WE going to the Alex Villa. Thanks a Lot, I Hope to See you again 😊❤️

Positive: Beautiful new pool. Lovely outdoors areas to sit and to dine, plentiful outdoor furniture. Host and owner were very attentive, friendly and helpful and dealt swiftly with all queries. They even brought us take away pizzas because our flight arrived late guessing the teenagers would be hungry. Local beaches and restaurants were fabulous. Separate studio apartment was lovely. Good air conditioning throughout.

Negative: Need to use mosquito repellent spray when sitting out after dark (same as anywhere on Corfu). Would have been useful to know in advance. The villa has mosquito screens on every window and door so no problem inside.

Summary: Gorgeous villa and pool. Wonderful hosts.

Positive: A beautiful Villa in a nice location

Negative: A really beautiful Villa however unfortunately we did come across a few problems. The first being the lack of water. When we arrived there was road works being done which apart from it being very noisy it also meant we had no water at least 5 times of our 7 night stay. However we eventually found out that the whole area struggles with water pressure so I do believe this is an on going issue. As well as no water the dishwasher was not working it was dirty when we arrived we told the owner and eventually he did put it a new one but this did take a few days for them to sort this issue. With the no water pressure this meant we could not use the washing machine and you do not get fresh towels so this was also very frustrating. The Villa lacks from a lot of stuff such as no mop to clean the floor no t towels and kitchen utility’s the basic everyday needs. We was told to make use of the bbq however the area does not have any lights which makes it Very difficult to see what your cooking. There was also no Cole provided just loads of empty bags of Cole There is also no where to put the bins which again is very inconvenient especially if you didn’t have a car. Mosquitoes are a big problem at the Villa they are everywhere and we all did end up getting bitten. Finally there it 2 big dogs which are cruelly left at the Villa locked in a cage and left there the owner does come everyday to feed them however I don’t believe this is fair. Due to this they do bark very early in the morning and very late at night we had a small baby with us so this was really not ideal. I do believe this should be stated before someone books. There’s no doubt in saying it’s a beautiful Villa however we do feel a lot of changes are needed to be made to cater for future guests. I would definitely recommend a car beaches are very close by but not walking distance and taxi drivers like to over charge we was charged 20 euro for a 5 minute drive
