Summary: The house is so perfectly private and peaceful that we ended up spending most of the day dipping in and out of the pool and then heading out to one of the magical beaches for a swim and sundowner. Highly recommend Palombaggia and Santa Gulia for this - what beautiful water and little bars to enjoy an early dinner. The Utile supermarket in Pianottoli has everything you could need, especially the local wines which are delicious. For a long distance relationship couple this house was ideal, but would work equally well for two couples or a family. Perfectly presented, lovely comfortable beds and great showers, you really can’t ask for more. Thank you Helene for your care and thoughtfulness- much appreciated.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay, house is new and very well fitted out, super comfortable beds,lovely pool, well stocked with everything you might need. It is quite rural so you need to be happy with that but lovely surrounding countryside. We visited Porte Vecchio, Bonifacio and Palumbaggio beach, all suberb. You do get some aircraft noise but this did not bother us, overall a really great stay, Corsica is a beautiful island, we will be back.

Summary: We spent a very relaxing week in Villa A Liccia last summer. The villa itself is light, well-equipped, tastefully decorated and air conditioned. The highlight, though is the outside space. There are great views into the distance, a very good-sized pool and a barbeque area. It would be quite possible to spend a week just here without venturing out to the beaches. However, if you leave your sun-lounger, there are beautiful, quiet beaches only 15-20mins drive away, as well as a couple of smaller towns with all of the shops you will need for the week. And slightly further away the sights of Bonifacio and Porta Vecchio. We were a little worried when booking regarding the proximity to the airport. However, we needn't have been. While you do see some planes, we found this really not to be distracting given the very small number of flights each day. And apart from the occasional plane, the location is completely quiet except for from the sounds of nature. In summary, this is a wonderful villa for a week away from it all. We will be back!
