Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this villa close to Porto Cesareo. The beaches are great, within walking distance to the villa and in May we where there almost on our own. The villa itself offers a lot of space, for us for (my wife and two young kids) even more than expected. It would easily fit for even 6 or 7 guests. The villa is well maintained, clean and well equipped with all that is needed. A grill is available in the garden as well as a pavillon to sit outside. We would definately recommend this to friends especially because the owner Mrs. Paladini is a great host, she did recommend us several places for daily needs, restaurants and "need to see places" around the beautiful Salento. She did take care about us with a "welcome package" of great food and she even helped to get fresh things like mozzarella and more directly from local farmers. Overall a great experience and a lot of reasons to come back in future!

Summary: Villa Castiglione is situated about 500 meters from a small beach. The most beautiful «caribian» beaches are - in 5 minutes by the car. The house is clean and very spacious (2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms + cot + kitchen and living room, designed for at least 5-7 people), located in a quiet secluded area, a fenced area with everything you need (tent, table with chairs, beds, chairs, outside shower, barbecue, etc.). But it is not the most important: Most important - extremely friendly, welcoming attitude mistress - Signora Paola: at our arrival in the fridge we found already: 1 liter of fresh yogurt from a nearby farm, 0.5 kg of fresh mozzarella, vegetables. Also - bread, tea, coffee, homemade olive oil, etc. Later Paola spent half a day to show us where the best shops in the area, vegetable shops, bread shop, shops. The next day, Paola took us to the farm, where they cook a great yogurt, mozzarella and much more. It was our first time in Puglia and meeting with Paola certainly another reason (apart from the great beaches, lovely views, the freshest seafood, tempting confectionery, etc.), to come back to Porto Cesareo.
