Positive: The hotel felt almost private during our stay in early December, with everything fully operating. Exceptional cleanliness, a perfect fresh scent everywhere, and an impeccably prepared room. Warm, comfortable sleep, and the sound of the ocean outside the window made it even better. Beautiful ocean views and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Positive: We were assigned room #410 which is at th very end of a long winding corridor. . but even the receptionist said it was well worth it and in my opinion it was. The room was lovely with an awesome view. Breakfast was amazing with oodles of choices. The bagpipes in the mornings were interesting although for the genuine experience shouldn't he be wearing a kilt? All in all the hotel is in the perfect spot close to everything you could possibly ever want, yet far enough away to offer peace and comfort.

Negative: Parking. By the time we arrived ate the hotel there were no available places to park. So, it would be nice to have enough parking. In the end I got a nasty parking ticket.

Positive: Well worth paying the extra for a balcony and sea view, breakfast was good but the dinner buffet was limited. lots of local restaurants so no need to eat in the hotel. car parking is limited and inthe high season i suspect would be an issue.

Positive: Our view was amazing we had breakfast every morning on the terrace over looking the ocean it was breathtaking. We loved the smell and the sound of the waves the hotel is amazing as usual we stay here every year if not this location at your other Vila gale locations in Portugal love love them all.

Negative: Too bad there was no window in our room as there is space Above the double doors to add windows high beautiful 18 foot ceiling, however we could not leave the door open due to the huge bugs outside our front door every night and possible one entering while leaving the door ajar. I did not also appreciate that I booked a second week here 16-21 august2024 however the reservation was not found in your system we were told my sister and husband stayed next door to us we all booked in May for this trip we were to book at another location however decided to book here since our other family and friends stayed here also. we were stressed when your staff told us there were no rooms available and our last day is Thursday august 15th there is no booking found for our second week , I asked them to call Vila gale Cascais and book there as this is what we do after our second week here book at your other premises also they did not because when we called to verify there was no booking I had to contact our booking agent and get our confirmation printed in Portugues and I emailed Vila gale that we did in fact had a reservation here thank you to Caterina your front desk clerk she was very helpful In Assisting us.
