Positive: We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).
Negative: The beach the villa is at a not very inviting beach for swimming, but nice for a walk. But then again, do not expect super nice swimming beaches on Sao Antao. But the island is spectacular in itself! And the pool at the Villa is therefore super welcome.

Positive: Pool was great, host very accommodating and welcoming
Negative: The wifi was not great and a bit slow but not sure they could have done anything about it because of the remoteness. Shower had clogging issues but they fixed it. Bed in front room with shower not the most comfortable (hard). Wish I would have paid attention to lack of AC. Overall I would still highly recommend due to the host
