Summary: Our stay was wonderful, the check-in and out process was very straightforward. We enjoyed our days sitting outside on the patio and visited the river! Such a great location and close enough to town we got to see the nightly performance by the missionairies. It is a beautiful place!

Summary: Location and setting were awesome. First impression as you pull up could have been better with the weeds and exterior landscape. Once inside and spending time there, it was fantastic. Plenty of room and the deck and views were amazing. Overall it was fantastic and really close to Historic Nauvoo and great for a medium size group of two families.

Summary: The house is amazing and the views are stunning! We especially love the ancient Indian burial grounds right above the house. The fall colors were amazing and we love Nauvoo. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We will be back.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our time at the 'castle'. It was a fun and unique place to stay. Since our visit was so brief (3 nights), we didn't get to use a lot of the amenities, such as the hot tub, musical instruments, fireplaces, etc.; but we did have pleasant evenings on the deck watching the sunsets and we enjoyed the fire pit one evening. The views were beautiful. The home is very spacious, so we had plenty of room to spread out and having three bathrooms was great! I was also impressed with the supplies provided. We didn't have any children with us, but I think it would be a great place for families with kids. The lower level with the bunk room had a nice selection of games, children's DVDs, etc. The only issue we had was getting a wi-fi signal. We used our phones for hot spots since the signal didn't seem strong enough for our laptops. I would stay here again.
