Summary: Good value for the location and space. Was happy to see that the master bedroom was upgraded to a king bed (although the bed frame was EXTREMELY noisy). I agree with prior reviews that the smell on the first floor was a bit overwhelming when you first walk in but luckily it wasn’t an issue on the second or third floor. There were plenty of stairs but we had read this so we’re not surprised. Dragging the cooler up that narrow staircase was tricky but manageable. If you’re not fit or have good knees you may not enjoy this unit. Overall we did enjoy our stay and would have considered staying here again was I not so disappointed and annoyed by the limited supplies. The dish soap was tiny and I don’t think the dishwasher is functional since there was no dishwashing tabs or soap, no Kleenex for blowing noses and we ran out of toilet paper on our last evening. We contacted Vacasa to see if there was more toilet paper available somewhere in the unit to be told that it’s their policy to only provide two (very cheap and small) roles per bathroom. With young children and a four night stay I don’t think expecting a couple more roles is unfair. Its not that it was a huge deal to spend 3 bucks on a 4 pack, but rather the inconvenience of having to run out to a store on our last evening there when traffic is horrendous that was the annoyance. Please ensure the next guest has access to the extra roles we left for them on top of your two provided roles per bathroom ….

Summary: Great two bedroom apartment. Be aware, there are three floors so if stairs are hard fory ou, this wont be a good fot. Balcony looks out on the boardwalk. Nice stocked kitchen. Safe garage parking. Nice size rooms. Beach toys for kids. Sea lions and seals at the pier andLots of rides and restaurants all within walking didtance. Beautiful cliff walk/ run. Watch surfers. Walk to trails, shopping and a bike path along the river. All so close and fun!

Summary: If you are looking for a place close to the boardwalk and with lots of space for up to 6 people, this is a good option. The one car garage and extra parking space are a plus. The view from the balcony is very nice at the beginning and end of the day. There is plenty of gathering and alone space. Keep in mind that this is three levels so lots of stairs. The decor and guest comforts are bare minimum and could be improved. Very dated and lacking but fine. Don't expect a home that has all you need (extra blankets, interior decorating, TV in every room, etc...) and you will not be disappointed with the location and space. We personally would stay again but wish the owner would invest a little more.

Summary: Boardwalk Dream perfectly fit our needs. It was spacious, clean and well-equipped. The location was walking distance from the boardwalk, Santa Cruz Pier and beach, where we could see the amazing sea lions. It was wonderful to hear the sound of the waves from our balcony, and we greatly appreciated the convenient washer & dryer. Overall, a great place to stay.

Summary: This house was ok. Not spectacular not awful but it suited a need for a stay. There is no AC in this house and if you are lucky like me you get to have an open window that your toddler can fall out of while listening to the neighbors sound like they are drowning a cat while singing karaoke to each other. However it’s not the leasing company’s fault the neighbors are gone deaf. I would not bring a toddler or younger here or anyone with disabilities even just old age. I put that on myself as I should have found somewhere that was safer for my toddler and elderly mom. Having the garage is nice. I was glad I could park my car and just walk in, only issue was the security camera is inside the garage which leaves no privacy inside the house and you have to walk past wide open windows to the outside that anyone can look into so the safety of an attached garage is out the window. There are two more uncovered windows so make sure you aren’t walking up or down the stairs after a shower in the random full bathroom on the top floor with no bedrooms. All in all it was a good stay. I just wouldn’t stay there again.

Summary: The location is convenient, close to the boardwalk and beach. I that this place has a garage to park in. It’s tight, but our larger SUV did fit. The house was clean when we arrived, and after you open up the windows, cools down quick. The only downside is the primary bedroom mattress is so uncomfortable. We barely slept and are so sore after 2 nights. This would be the only thing stopping us from renting this house again.

Summary: This unit does not state they did not have A/C and no screens in windows in bedrooms so no way to get air into bedroom’s unless you wanted bugs to fly in. Only 1 small and 1 box fan for circulation. They also have 3 flights of stairs and I feel that should be noted in the unit as well.
