Positive: Cosy small hotel located in a great spot, close to the port and to the city.Friendly staff and warm welcoming ! Nice breakfast. Overally, we had a great stay.

Negative: Because of the cold weather , the room needed enough time to get heated but we didn’t have any issue with that.

Summary: Small , cosy , old-style hotel with warm atmosphere!

Positive: A short walk from the ferry and bus terminal and also a very short walk to the old town. Good spot to explore Colonia. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Negative: Wi-Fi is so weak from our room which happened to be a sort of extension of the main building. Wi-Fi works well in the reception/dining area. Water supply was not reliable in our room.

Positive: Pleasant accommodation, conveniently halfway between the stations (ferry and bus) and the old town. Our hotel room's view of the water was blocked by a tin building that sold crafts, but it was nonetheless very relaxing, including a decent breakfast and a little patio off the bedroom. From there, one could sit outside if one could tolerate the mosquitoes rushing in, when the door to the patio was opened. (We were there in late March, close to the peak of the mosquito season.)

Negative: The window curtains, somewhat damaged by natural water condensation during cooler evenings, did not fully cover the large windows, so we had to spend a fair amount of time figuring how to block the incoming light from both the street and from the light on the patio. Still, the street itself was quiet, and we slept fine.

Positive: It was exactly what I expected. In a good location on the edge of the historic district and close to the ferry terminal so it wasn’t a long walk with my bags. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. The room had a fridge which was great and the air con worked well. Breakfast was basic but ok. There was one staff member that had good English which was helpful but all the staff I encountered were friendly despite the language barrier. I would happily book again.

Negative: At times there was a slight drain smell in my room but it wasn’t always there and wasn’t overwhelming.
