Positive: A very beautiful hotel, every rooms has a fantastic balcony to relax and enjoy the view of Matera at night. Wonderful service, great breakfast. Great food.

Positive: Well, we only got to spend one night, but I wish it was longer. The history and the beauty of the place was overwhelming. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I hope I can go back someday.
Negative: It’s really hard to think of anything I didn’t like. I wish it was more counter space in the bathroom.

Negative: This is nitpicking. We got a suite and the extra sitting area was not a good value. It was not a useful use of space.

Positive: We had a bad experience with our room as it smelled like cigarette smoke. We asked a few times to figure it out and they couldn’t and I was able to figure out the problem. Staff was smoking below us and the smoke was traveling through the air ducts into the room. We finally moved rooms but the next room wasn’t as nice. Otherwise everything else was great !
