Positive: I like everything about the hotel. From the warm reception, cleanliness, location, breakfast. The manager was very communicative which was very good and reassuring. The management was attentive and helpful to our exigencies. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Freetown, the location is perfect to explore the nightlife and the downtown and yet it is very quiet. Good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

Positive: Was delighted by my super-spacious studio apartment 'room', with a balcony leading to a magnificent view of the Atlantic ocean and the crowded coastline across the waters. The manager is gracious and generous. I had an early check-out the next morning so wouldn't make for breakfast which starts at 9am. Since it was included in my booking, he escorted me personally to the kitchen which was shutting down and kindly requested the chef to whip up something which I stored and enjoyed in the early morning before leaving - Thank you team! Best part: the hotel is barely 200m from the ferry station so no need for a taxi unless you are loaded with luggage. In which case don't pay more than $1 (Unlike me who was duped by a taxi lady who took advantage of my ignorance... :(

Negative: Wish breakfast was served earlier... And though it's got nothing to do with Venue 360, I wish I could have stayed longer! :)

Positive: The room is very spacious and offers a beautiful sea view. There is air conditioning both in the bedroom and the living room, which was very comfortable. Breakfast is included and served at the restaurant, which is excellent. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful—you can really tell they genuinely care about making guests feel comfortable. For example, even though breakfast officially starts at 9 a.m., they kindly prepared it earlier for me when I had to leave before that time.

Negative: However, several important things were missing or disappointing in the unit. The shower has no door, which causes water to spill everywhere. The toilet is not powerful enough to flush toilet paper, so it has to be thrown in a bin, which is not very comfortable. Cleaning was also below expectations, especially in the shower area. The hotel does not provide irons. Instead, you have to pay $1 per item to have your clothes ironed, and the result is not very good. This is quite surprising, as after traveling most clothes need ironing. At the very least, guests should be able to borrow an iron when needed. Access to the gym requires booking in advance, which I have never experienced before and found inconvenient. Finally, the ATM located downstairs never works, which is a real issue in a country where cash is still widely used.
