Positive: I can only recommend this summer house for the holidaying in the area. It has everything you need and super comfortable for a couple. The kitchen is well-equipped, it's warm in the house, mattresses are super comfy, shower with hot water and few extras like a washing machine made our staying there really pleasant. Flawless communication with the host was also a great bonus! The views from the house are fantastic and very relaxing.

Positive: Of the 12 places we stayed in Iceland, this one was by far the best in every way! The view is absolutely extraordinary, you see beautiful trees on one side and endless mountains on the other. The place is unbelievably clean, comfortable, and modern. The Marshall amp is actually the fridge, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. The coffee, especially was delicious! All around, we wish we had time to stay longer just to spend more time on the beautiful deck. Thank you for such a special day, we cannot recommend it enough to anyone else!

Negative: Absolutely nothing, everything about this place was beyond our expectations!

Positive: Very well-located about 10 minutes from Akureyri centre, on the opposite side of the fjord, so it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, with a great view into the valley and to the mountains. Very well appointed - including a washing machine. The apartment was big enough for a stay of a 4 days, for two people, very comfortable beds, very clean, and a nice living space. For walks, a gravel road into the mountain starts about 500m from the house. Seamless check-in, and quick responses from the host on questions. For driving, the road around the mountain (not route 1 through the tunnel) is much more scenic. The waterfall Aldeyjarfoss (40km into the valley from Godafoss) is absolutely superb, with no people around. The Akureyri botanical garden was a very beautiful surprise.

Negative: There were only two large towels - hand towels would have been nice.
