Summary: Cleanliness of the room was very poor, crumbs, and stains on the desk, and the couch and stool were very visibly stained enough where it was not going to be somewhere I would sit. The bed was probably the worst I’ve ever slept in, it was hard and incredibly uncomfortable. I asked staff for a new room and was told there were none, even though the hotel was definitely not full.

Summary: There is the potential for this to be a great hotel. The pool was closed because the town did not send back their report regarding the samples before the weekend. There were no vouchers given for the local pool and no concessions made to give a discount. Then the TV in our room would not connect to the internet and they tried to fix it but the person who could actually fix it was not there on Saturdays. It seems like a management problem, not giving staff the freedom to support guests how they need. When guests book for amenities and do not get to use them it is quite frustrating, as I could have paid much less for a hotel without a pool or TV. I will say the breakfast was good and that the gluten free bread and English muffins and boiled eggs in the fridge. You didn't have to ask staff for it - this was nice. However, they did not have a dedicated GF toaster if you need that. A suggestion to this hotel would be to have out lemon or cucumber water and coffee or tea during the day as there were no water bottles in the room.
