Summary: The staff was helpful. Got us checked in quickly and when we had issues with our TV, they came and got that figured out. But then we had someone trying to get in our door at midnight the first night because the front desk gave him our room! Then the staff came pounding on our door, saying they didn’t have record of us. They ended up finding the paperwork and said nobody entered us in the system. I felt that was unprofessional to accuse us of not having a right to be there rather than looking for the paperwork first. Other than that, the hotel was decent. It could have been cleaner. When we had to do laundry, we had to go to the other location. It was surrounded by very sketchy people. Didn’t really feel safe. Some woman was peeing on the fence nearby. Other than that, it was decent and I guess fine for the price.

Summary: The location was great, close to many things. However the area was not great. We never felt in danger but there were more people wondering around than we would prefer. Also, the bottom half of the motel was a motel, the upper floor was residential rental. When we walked in the room, it looked nice and I was like ok this is not too bad, then we started killing spiders and there were live bugs and dead bugs everywhere. Cobwebs in the ceiling the floor was dirty. We would not walk around without our shoes on.

Summary: The price I was charged on my card is NOT the price I was given on Hotels.com. I called to inquire about the price difference and was told that I would get the refund of the difference, that did not happen. The front desk was very polite upon check in. The lobby was very clean and appeared to be newer. The room itself was so clean and seemed remodeled, except for the bathtub that was gross and leaky...we chose not to use it as it looked like rust in the bottom as well. The outside was definitely lacking. They house long term residents on site and it shows. Lots of dog activity and barking. People sleeping on benches outside. the sidewalks were quite gross and the door to the room seemed unsafe and not secure.

Summary: When we showed up at the varsity west property at 1130 there was no staff on sight just a note to call there Varsity North property. So after speaking with the lady we were forced to drive like 5 miles thru town and take a room at a similar property. It was nice, clean, and spacious but it was a prertt big hassle and we wernt compensated for it. Q
