Summary: I have stayed at the Van der Valk a few times and have always enjoyed my stay. Unfortunately on this occasion I was extremely disappointed; a flushing toilet & hot breakfast are minimum requirements.

Summary: Modern building behind older facade. Good parking. Steps up to hotel entrance. Excellent clean and spacious bedroom. Seemed short of staff, so service slow. Some young staff seemed under-trained, and rather bored by their work. Too much loud music in dining room.
