Summary: It is a good location for starting a walk, biking or just your day. The house is nice, clean and well provided. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpfull.

Summary: We rented this location for some days of mountainbike fun. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and had everything we would need. We could store our bikes in a safe place at night (a big plus for us). The house is located in a very small village, so you need a car for shops and restaurants. The area is simply perfect for walking and mountainbiking. Just make sure the Lieserpfad on your list! And if you're willing to do some driving, put the Arthal (Altenahr) there as well, it's beautiful!

Summary: We had 5 nights in this very comfortable apartment, which easily accommodated 4 adults and even came with a cot and highchair for our friend's baby. The house was exactly as it is described on the website, modern, clean and well furnished with all the comforts of home, plus other welcoming touches. Margaret and Paul were the most lovely hosts, their warm welcome and helpful advice made our stay very easy - especially as we spoke very little German. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet place to stay in a small village, you would need a car as the closest market/food/town is about 8km away in the spa village of Daune. The local scenery was lovely, the village is close to forests/walks for cycling, castle ruins for exploring and the owners had lots of other tourist information on-site so there was plenty of options for things to do and see. Easy to get to the Mosel valley and up to the Rhine for day trips, it is a perfect spot for a quiet get away or, like us, your first trip into Germany. To Margret and Paul, many thanks for a great stay!
