Originally we were thinking about the beach, but as we scrolled through the properties in several coastal destinations we just weren't finding what we were looking for. Yes there were plenty of beautiful family style beach houses to choose from, but nothing special, and certainly nothing that screamed couples romance. Then my wife recalled a coworker mentioning a while back that they had gone to the Broken Bow area for a long weekend and found it to be surprisingly nice. Neither of us knew much about the area, but once we started looking through the properties we knew we were on the right track, and when we saw the Blackwater we immediately knew our search was over. It looked perfect! When we arrived, the place was immaculate and there was soft jazz already playing on the tv. This cabin is absolutely beautiful and built for romance. It's every bit as perfect as it looked in the pictures. We'll always remember the Blackwater as a very special place and hope to return again sometime soon.”
“This couple's cabin couldn't be more perfect! The amenities and space are every bit luxurious and so well thought out. The cabin is a wonderful get away and our favorite part was watching the outdoor tv from the hot tub. Such an incredibly romantic setting. We also loved the close proximity to the creek side and outdoor fire pit. So many things to do and nature around to enjoy. The local brewery and restaurant also were not far at all with just a quick 2-minute drive. Highly recommend this cabin! It's a retreat you will remember for sure!”
