Positive: Location is not in town but near to airport. I choose on purpose as I wanted a local homestay experience. There is 1 room that can sleep 2 large people or 3 medium size pax. Sofa that is evergreen, something I have seen in my parents house. The washroom is connected to the motor so need to inform them if you are going to take late shower or etc. The hall has a bunk bed that can fit 5ft pax. Coffee tea making facility. Hot water kettle. Fridge. Microwave. Plenty of electric point. Has a swing that is strong enough to sit a 100kg man. It is located on the upper floor of the house. The steps leading to it is steep but sturdy. If you have knee issues avoid. I had bulky bags and such but I'm ok with hauling luggage up and down. There is also place for you to hang clothes, a gazebo for you to eat and drink. Plants and such surrounding it. The best thing about the location is the fresh air you get to breathe. Not some ac air or 40th storey hotel air. That alone is worth it. Hospitable couple. The washing machine is theirs. Not in the room. You can wash your clothes for 100 rupees and 100 more for the helper as tip. Worth it. For NRIs you need to provide them with visa and passport. She will do for you Form C. It's new rules whereby you have to present it before flying back to your respective country. Mrs Usha was gracious for doing this for us. Appreciate the help. Kerala separates the organic and recyclable materials which explains the different bins in homestay. Very attentive

It is the kind of place where you can sit peacefully, breathe fresh air, and feel completely stress-free. The owner is an incredibly kind, humble, and caring person. They treated me not like a guest, but like a family member. Every small need was looked after with a genuine smile and warmth. Their hospitality made a huge difference to my entire trip and gave me a feeling of home, even though I was away from my own city. It is not just a place to stay, but a place where you feel emotionally comfortable and safe. The rooms were neat, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Everything was clean and well-arranged, which made the stay even more relaxing. I slept peacefully every night and felt refreshed every morning. The environment is very positive and perfect for solo travelers, families, or anyone visiting Trivandrum for work or leisure. Overall, my experience here was outstanding. If you are looking for a peaceful, homely, and affordable stay with genuine hospitality, I would highly recommend this place without any second thought. I will definitely choose this homestay again whenever I visit Trivandrum in the future.

Positive: Starting with the host , she is the best !! she really know how to handle people !! Humble and gentle !! The rooms were exceptional, I would mention it was ambient and calm !! It really made my day !! There is a garden on the terrace on the entrance to the room and it's well maintained !! The bed was comfortable and clean to be mentioned and so is the bathroom !! We were lucky that it rained and gave the best !! The morning the breakfast served for us was appam and egg roast and you know that kottayam authentic taste !! Which we really loved , it was yummy !!
