Summary: Wonderful getaway—very relaxing and peaceful, especially during the off-season. The staff was incredible—so friendly, welcoming, and fun. The restaurant exceeded our expectations; we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious. We had a great time spending time in the lodge—playing pool and games, relaxing by the fireplace, and taking in the beautiful grounds. Our room was lovely and very comfortable.

Summary: Stayed in one of the 2 bedroom options. Clean, decor warm and cozy, beds comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Cons: Couldn't get the fireplace to work - would've been nice if room came with starters or newspaper something to get the fire going. Restaurant service was super slow - took over 1.5 hours to get our food. Food was delicious though.

Summary: In room 205 at Forest Haus, there is no curtain over the balcony door window. Because of this it got very bright in the room as soon as the sun came up. There were also lady bugs all over the room. They didn’t really bother us but also didn’t expect that.
