Summary: We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom.

Summary: Perfect location spoiled by mis-interpretation online of the actual accommodation. It was very dirty in all the rooms, cobwebs, Huntsman spiders, mosquitos everywhere. The outside areas were not kept at all, the washing machine was in a dirty outside cupboard with a hand written note "not to be used", the garden was overgrown with weeds and the outdoor tables and chairs were in need of replacement. No curtains on the front door, door handles falling off the doors inside. The overall experience was very dissappointing for the amount of money charged.
