Positive: It’s a nice little space which feels welcoming. I love the privacy of gender rooms; the toilet cubicles are inside the room and well maintained. It also have amenities like hair dryer, curler, and big mirrors for you to get ready comfortably. Love the spacious “room” where there storage/ table like structure. There’s also a nice social area on level 2.

Positive: Affordable hostel. Common area space. Beds were comfortable

Negative: Tight spaces and not much space for luggage. This is expected for Japan

Positive: The staff are really nice and the place is relatively modern. The place has smart locks for the outside and individual floors. The furnishings are nice and not ugly. There's a shared workspace and a kitchen as well on the 2nd floor. The capsule is very big, so much that you could use your laptop in there and the lighting inside is very comfortable.

Negative: Unito Chiyoda is a 12+ minute walk to any nearest station and there are better locations within the same price range. Also, the bathroom is kinda awkward. The mens showers are on the first floor, while the capsules are on the 4th and 5th floors... The sink of said bathroom is fully exposed to the lobby and that feels kinda embarassing. It was also a bit busy around 1am at night, people waiting to brush their teeth.

Summary: Good enough to be worthwhile, but I wouldn't stay here again

Positive: Great location in CHIYODA, close to a subway station.

Negative: The capsule is really small. It was my first time staying in capsules and I don’t know if it’s always like this, but even getting in and out was very uncomfortable (I literally had to crawl). Besides the showers for men are in the main entrance next to the reception and that’s uncomfortable too.

Positive: Amazing staff. Large capsule beds. Very clean.

Negative: Not a lot of extra space in dorm room for large bags to be left outside of each capsule bed storage space. The locks in the rooms are cannot be used.

Positive: I was surprised about the quality of the hostel. Everything was very clean, the staff cleaned the facilities every day. The furniture and facility also felt modern and cozy. You are even provided basic items such as towels, toothbrush and razors. They also provide filtered water and coffee. I didn’t want to go to a capsule hostel because of the size but my budget was quite low so it was really great to find this hostel. The “rooms” are bigger than capsule hostels and even have space for storage. Definitely ask for the A-side in the women’s dormitory since there’s a bit more space. Additionally, the location is so convenient, it’s just a couple minutes from tokyo station by metro. There are multiple stations nearby with easy connection to places such as Akihabara. Walking around the neighbourhood is also quite nice since the buildings around the area are also all pretty. This seems to be a place where some working people live permanently so there are not many people hanging around during the day, which makes it nicely quiet most of the time.

Negative: Even though the storage in the rooms is supposed to have a lock, you’re not allowed to use the locks so you have to pay for the lockers if you want to secure your belongings. But it’s not so expensive, about 300yen/day.

Summary: Overall really great experience!
