Summary: Visiting daughter at SIU. It couldn’t have been any closer! We were there for her track meet and it only took us 5 minutes drive each way. Unlike hotels, this rental was so very quiet and peaceful. I will admit that when I walked through the first door to go upstairs to the unit I thought, “what have I done?” but once you climb the industrial looking flight of stairs and enter your private unit, you will be in awe of this lovely old refurbished water treatment plant.We will be visiting Carbondale sporadically while my daughter is there and will be very disappointed if I’m not able to rent the unit again at my next visit to town!

Summary: We were a little concerned by the outside of the building, but inside was a different story. The place is clean and has reasonable amenities, parking was plentiful, and check-in/out process was easy. We didn’t try to use the elevator but since the rooms are on the 3rd floor, that would have made it easier getting our luggage in. Overall a great stay.

Summary: This was a perfect apartment for the two of us! It is small, but very comfortable and had everything we needed! It was in a great location - close to hiking, local restaurants, the alpaca farm, and great local shops. We had a wonderful long weekend!
