All modern amenities, large modern bathroom. Guest cabin for kids. There is only one cabin on lake. Canoe and kayak at dock. Large 1899 cast iron cauldron for safe pit fires. Free firewood supplied. Fantastic swimming right at cabin.

Summary: The cabin was neat, clean, and very cozy. The pictures on the listing do not do the main bedroom or the bathroom justice! The lake was private, peaceful, and lovely to spend time on, in the variety of boats provided by the hosts. Leonard and Tina were extremely friendly and helpful hosts, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and also offered a bunch of extra activities for both adults and kids. It was a perfect stay! The only small notes we had was that it would be good to install a drinking water dispenser (like with the big jugs on top), instead of providing visitors with endless amounts of small plastic water bottles, to reduce the amount of plastic waste; and that a few extra pots and pans for cooking would be great! Those tiny things aside, we loved our time at the cabin, it was the perfect peaceful getaway and we were sad to say goodbye. Highly recommend this cabin!

Summary: Property was very private & quiet for the most part. Even in Algonquin you sometimes hear campers a thousand feet away. The host's (Tina & Len) were very attentive to our needs. VERY fast response and were very friendly. We had a very relaxing time and are looking forward to returning next year. THANKS Tina & Len !!

Summary: So calm and peaceful and quiet! Just what i was looking for. I love that the cottage was all by itself.Screen doors would be a great addition to the cottage.Everything was very clean.A great stay

Summary: My wife and I went to this property to get away for her birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted by the host and brought to the cabin. We were explained the expectations and shown where all of the needed amenities were. Then we were left to unwind and relax. The next two days were bliss. While we spent most of the time on the property the local area was great too. We hit a small farmers market, sampled a local restaurant, and checked out the waterfalls in the area. We can not say enough good things about the property, the area, and our hosts.

Summary: This place is amazing. hosts are so accomodating and always available to make the stay PERFECT. Would highly recommend the place and we will be going back for sure. hopefully multiple times a year. Hopefully catch some fish next time.

Summary: We came here with our two children and had a wonderful weekend. It was quiet and private. Felt very secluded. You have your own private lake with access to kayaks a canoe and a paddle boat! The adults stay in the main cabin and the kids have their own cute little cabin beside. They loved having their own cabin. The lake was clean. They had a diving board you can jump off. Great fishing. My kids caught trout and loved seeing all the minnows. Surrounded by nature. Sounds of frogs and birds are very relaxing. Hosts were very kind! They have a huge forest you can explore with trails throughout it. It was the perfect getaway from the city. Would recommend this place!

Summary: Absolutely beautiful property, the cabin is right on a private lake tucked away, with trails everywhere to explore. Easy to access with any car, well maintained dirt paths. The hosts were very communicative and met us at the property to let us into the cabin, give tips to maximize our stay, and made sure we were comfortable. There are ample space heaters, extra water, firewood. Bring bug spray, layers, and your own water, too! We loved this place and would come back in the hotter months for a swim in the lake.
