Summary: We loved the old building and location. The unit itself was clean but sparse in terms and not the most welcoming of places I have ever been. We had to search for towels (below the bathroom sink if wondering) and most of the cupboards were empty. Being that it is an apartment with a full kitchen, and not a hotel, I would have liked to have seen it more stocked with basics cooking/eating supplies, like coffee mugs and more than two forks. Dish sponges were also old. The floors are incredibly creaky and there appears to be a bar or event space next door so one night we had all kinds of noise from outside, the floor above, and someone who decided to power-wash at near midnight. The other two nights were quiet. Overall it was a good location and clean but don't expect much else.

Summary: There's plenty of space. Our family rented 3 different apartments. The building is located in the heart of Vicksburg, we didn't have to drive far to anything. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Condo was as described. We were not upset that the police dept is next door :) Yes floors are creaky and yes you can hear other condo occupants but this is an old restored bldg so that's to be expected. Did find misc canned goods and snacks in the kitchen cabinets presumably left by last occupants.

Summary: Wonderful restoration of an old commercial building with attention to detail and many amenities perfect for group or family visits. The building has central air not window units as stated in the description. There was not a hair dryer or bar soap in the unit but that was not an issue. Wood floors are very creaky, also not an issue but worth mentioning. The 3 ring binder in the unit needs to be updated with current contact information, checkout time, etc. Upon arriving we did not have instructions on how to enter the locked door to the main building. After unsuccessful attempts I called both guest contact numbers and left detailed messages. A few minutes later I received a call from someone who did not identify herself or the reason for the call. When I attempted to guess who it might be, I was quickly corrected on the pronunciation of her name. When I explained that I didn’t have clear instruction on how to enter the locked exterior door to the building, I was assured (several times) the instructions are clear and told that door should not be locked. After getting the code and entering the building I wanted to keep the guest contact on the phone until I successfully got in the room. When I ask for clarification on using the room keyless entry I was asked if I had read those instructions. By this time I’m over the attitude and lack of empathy of the guest contact. Later in the evening when there was an issue with the internet I asked by friend to call and the guest contact was sweet as pie referring him to the second guest contact who was very professional and helpful in taking care of the issue. We found the apartment to be very clean and well decorated. There is an exercise room, a patio with gas grills and nice common areas for visiting with friends. While I recommend the property and have no issue with it, I will not return due to the attitude and unprofessional experience with the guest contact.
