Positive: The building is obviously aged, and we were concerned what the room might be like when we first saw the carpets in the corridors (which need an upgrade) but were pleasantly surprised with the room given previous ratings and reviews. The traditional dinner was an amazing experience. Customer service wonderful.

Negative: The shower would revert between very hot to cold every few minutes. As a young /middle aged western couple, we felt we stood out more than usual. The hotel has a very strong local feel to it and the majority of patrons appeared to be of retirement age.

Positive: The food was really good. The view from the room, the big bath and the breakfast area was really nice too, but it was cloudy when we were there.

Negative: The water pressure in the room’s bath area in the room was really small so we had no choice but to go to the big bath.

Positive: The room was so big. It’s already warm inside when we arrived.

Negative: For me it’s dark inside . The hallways to the rooms looks narrow because of the color. For the complimentary drink, I hope to have a coffee aside from green tea or burdock tea.
