Positive: First class accommodation in a brilliant location, right on the bank of the Leven River. Very modern apartment with state of the art white goods including Smeg kettle and toaster, washing machine and dryer and Nescafé pod coffee machine. The linen was of hotel quality and the beds really comfortable. The front deck, which looks directly out to the river, has a mini Weber BBQ and good quality outdoor furniture. Our group of 3 adult family members appreciated access to the basic kitchen staples provided. About 5 minutes walking distance to the Public Pontoon, for those thinking of booking the River and Forest cruise, as this is the departure point. Just across the river, is the main Street with supermarkets, a top butcher, and bakery, a choice of coffee places, pubs and other assorted eating options for dining out.

Negative: The one can opener wasn’t operational but the owner has been made aware of this. Also, we think it would be wise to provide an anti-slip mat, or similar, in the shower. And even though the bathroom was very impressive in size and decor, there was really nowhere for toiletries to be stored for clients staying more than a single night. It would have been nice to be able to spread our stuff out rather than than have to wander back to the bedroom each time they were needed.
