Summary: I rented the chalet to celebrate a big birthday. It was exceptional from start to finish. The view of the mountains off the deck is exquisite. We ate there almost every night cooking in the kitchen, which has everything you need -- including raclette and fondue equipment. The beds and bedding are excellent, the showers were strong and the layout was perfect for two families with kids. The location is just out of town, so you either walk for 15-20 minutes or grab the bus, which is super easy. We did not have a car. The host is responsive and very easy to work with. We were entranced by Grindelwald and our chalet and can't wait to come back.

Summary: The house was in a perfect location! Close enough to the train station and downtown Grindelwald but far enough that you can enjoin the serene setting of this wonderful house. It was wonderful coming back to the house and unwinding after a long day to enjoy the unobstructed views of the Alps. I thoroughly recommend this home which was well appointed.

Summary: Our stay in this wonderful chalet was terrific! Coffee on the terrace watching the sun on the alps was an amazing vista we will long remember. (As well as wine in the evening!). Dairmuid was a fabulous property manager who greeted us upon arrival and very patiently went through the house with us. Plenty of room for three couples, a well-stocked kitchen, very comfortable living room for lounging after a day of hiking. It was an absolute delightful stay in Grindelwald. We hope to return in the future to explore more of the area.
