Positive: Breakfast was acceptable; The gentleman host was friendly and offered us the use of their bikes - which we didn't take up because the bikes were too tall. It was nice to have our own door and sitting area. Garden was pretty.

Negative: Lighting was very low in the main room; There are pools/pots of still water all over their garden so there were a LOT of mosquitos; We ran out of spray and had to buy more. Communication on the day we arrived was not great; No idea if wifi was available - no one told us. This was the only hotel in Sri Lanka where we saw a cockroach inside the room. Location - too far to walk from centre - lots of barking dogs in the neighbourhood that would partially chase us when we walked.

Summary: Not as clean as we'd like - too many mosquitos.
