In our neighborhood "Strehlen" meets the construction of Gründerzeit villas, historic farmsteads and new downtown architecture and all within an 800 year old village center with a romantic park and a small stream, in a quiet yet very central location of Dresden.

Summary: It is a bit removed from the city center, but it is very close to the public transportation so you ate in the middle if the center in 10 min. Restaurants and supermarkets are close by. There is a very nice and big park nearby for running and walking.the neighbourhood is nice with some old ' fachwerk' houses. There is a nice sauna very nearby.There is a bike store nearby where you can rent bikes. The owners live in the building next door. They are nice and helpfull people.
