Positive: Ty Carreg was perfect for our family stay - (my husband & I and his parents). The house is beautifully renovated, spacious, had a nice homely family feel to it and it is a quiet location overlooking farmland. The beds were comfortable, a lovely big shower with plenty of hot water and a very spacious kitchen that was well supplied for a self catering stay to prepare your own meals. The owners were lovely to deal with when I contacted them and responded promptly to my request to check in half an hour earlier which was appreciated. I would definitely come back and stay again as it's very relaxing. In terms of cleanliness it was excellent. The house has thermostated heating so was surprisingly warm even though it didn't seem to come on too often.
Negative: The instructions to find the house were difficult and we were unaware that what3words was an app we needed to download, unfortunately the 3rd party company managing the property was useless at explaining the directions & other questions we asked but we got to the house. I have passed my feedback onto the owner directly so this should be rectified. A refillable bottle of shower gel would be recommended to have for guest use. Take or buy a bottle of milk for your arrival & although there is a coffee pod machine there were no coffee pods supplied. An extra tea towel would be good too. There were no final departure instructions for bedding & towels, dishes, rubbish etc this would be a good addition to your guest guide but thank you for responding to my text message.

Positive: A stunning property in a beautiful location.
Negative: Directions to the property were difficult to follow for anyone who did not know the area. There is no sign or house name on the approach from the road. Whilst the house is beautifully positioned and well equipped, for the amount charged I would have liked a few more facilities, there was no soap or shower gels in the bathroom, no dishwasher tablets and very few coffee pods for the coffee machine. I had coffee with me and a cafetière or coffee pot would have been useful.
Summary: A beautiful house in a gorgeous, peaceful location.
