A high clearance 4x4 vehicle is REQUIRED in order to access the home. The roads leading to the home are not maintained the same as normal roads and are classified as off-road only. If you attempt to go to the home in a normal vehicle or a vehicle that is not properly equipped, you will damage it. Please understand that this home is located in a VERY remote area. It is NOT located in a neighborhood or anything like it! Depending on the weather, you could very well be snowed-in or snowed-out. Please prepare accordingly and ASK ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BOOKING!!! Unfortunately, we are unable to refund for any stays that are unable to access the property due to improper vehicle or being ill-prepared for the conditions. We will, however, may offer a credit equivalent to the full cost of the rental (minus any fees imposed by VRBO) for a future rental. Also, the air up here is thin and takes time to acclimate - we recommend if you haven't been at altitude to acclimate in Denver for a day first prior to coming into the mountains. Keeping hydrated is one of the best ways to curb altitude sickness - AVOID alcohol a minimum of 48 hours prior to arrival. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Summary: This property was PERFECT!! The view was amazing!! The house was unique and beautiful with everything that we needed!

Summary: Enjoyed my stay. Issues with cleaning team were communicated before check in which was greatly appreciated. Do not take the 4x4 road only warning in the property overview lightly, they are not exaggerating. Had a jeep rubicon on 35s and it was still a bit of a rough ride. I would recommend some sort of markers or land marks for where to turn. I think it could make it a little easier for some people to find the place. Overall it’s a great place and you can’t beat the views
