Summary: We stayed a few days near Santa Monica pier! We loved the location as it was walking distance from the beach and the infamous pier! Luhanda was quick to respond and her directions were very clear with the check in process! Would recommend!

Summary: Great little spot in the perfect location. We enjoyed our stay here very much. However there were a few things that made me leave 4 stars. The shower door and faucet need attention. When turning on the shower water sprays all over you from the handle. Towels are in good condition however there are not enough and they smell of mildew. Prior to booking I asked if a late check out was available and the host said yes. Prior to arrival I asked again for a late checkout at 12 pm and was told it was fine. On the day of check out the cleaning lady knocked on the door at 11:15. I told her we had a late checkout. She said she wanted the trash and I let her in. Then she proceeded to start cleaning and totally ignoring my husband and I statements of a late checkout. Luckily we were packed so we got our stuff and left. The host took 15 minutes to answer me and then told me sorry, she must not have gotten the memo. As a host myself I find that response unacceptable for a prearranged late check out. Just say no next time.

Summary: Hello! We had a great stay and had everything we needed. Our only hiccup was that the owner has the wall AC unit on a timer that seemed to turn off the AC unit around 7 am (I am guessing) and would kick on around 11 am. I contacted her about this and she said she does this since people forget to turn it off on check out. We were only there two nights but was mid-July with high temps and was definitely hot in the mornings. Being a beachfront property, not a problem for most of the year, but the temps in the morning were definitely uncomfortable. If we had a fan even, there would be less problem with the temp, but there was not one. I would recommend for the owner to manually do the AC adjustments on checkout day if that is the concern. We tend to leave the unit around 10-11 AM which is near the time the unit would be kicking on again so were left without making that choice ourselves. Otherwise, great stay! Again, not going to be a problem most of the year.
