Summary: Our travel from the Midwest was a great success! Pia’s property was amazing. It was very clean, well decorated, all necessities were onsite. The grocery store was close by along with many restaurants and wineries. I would highly recommend her home and stay here again if I’m back in Sonoma.

Summary: We came to Sonoma on a womens trip celebrating our 40th birthdays and it did not dissapoint. The house was perfect for some outside time and relaxation when we were there along with large tables for eating and cooking together! We are from Maine,so the warmth outside was just what we needed!

Summary: I spent a winter holiday week with 5 other family members at Twin Oaks. The well-appointed kitchen was perfect for family meal prep and gathering. The den with a TV was also great for gathering and board games. The winter weather was very rainy during our stay and this property may be even better in good weather so people can enjoy the pool and outdoor activities. The home is a short drive from Jack London State Park for hiking and to learn some local history. It’s also a short drive to Sonoma Square which is one of (the?) largest town square in the state.

Summary: This is a very well maintained property with many great amenities. It is close to the town of Sonoma but still in an area that gives one the feeling of being in the countryside (there are neighbors, but also quite a bit of vineyards/ farmland nearby, for instance). There's a pool that can be on the cool side, as it is in the shade. We didn't pay extra to heat it, but I would imagine one would want to depending on weather. We don't usually rent in this part of Sonoma, and I probably wouldn't again but for some visitors, being such a drive close to town and its restaurants would probably be a plus. Note that typically, there's a very early checkout and a late-ish check in, which might bother some people, given the price. I can imagine that the early checkout is because big properties require more time to clean up between guests, but still. In our case, because of a booking error and an online doctor's appointment that I couldn't miss, we didn't actually check out so early, and the owner was very accommodating as it was she who made the error. Also note that we were a bit anxious going into this because the owners are very picky and both warn and ask questions in advance about how their property will be treated. I get it. In fact, it's the reason that we don't rent either our own home, or our vacation home. But it does feel a bit awkward. That said, once we were there, we felt relaxed and we really enjoyed the place.

Summary: I rented this house for a friends' weekend and it was perfect. So clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen was well-stocked. All the beds and towels were comfy. It was a cold, rainy weekend and the house took some time to heat up but the fireplace in front room helped. The cottage room stayed cool and the bathroom there never heated up but that was my room and I wasn't in it for too long. The main house was great and the hot tub, even better. We loved taking walks down the road towards the ranches back there. The house is located at an easy distance to Sonoma Square or the main wineries as you enter the county. Overall, we all agreed that we'd rent this house again in a heart beat.
