Positive: Hidden gem. Best sleep I had for a long time. The area is amazing. We are definitely returning here and we have booked directly with Nikoleta. The house has everything you can think of and a lot more than what advertised. The fishing gear made me laugh. I’m bringing bait next time. Thank you for all the treats!

Negative: Midges, but I never had a good relationship with them and nothing to do with property or host. Having said that host had even left midges spray for us.

Positive: It was spotless with a good space. Very quite some nice touches from the host with blankets, extras and lots of information. Clear instructions on everything including how to get there. Quiet.

Negative: Shower was difficult to get to work. Hot water was rust stained (brown). No drinking water. Very long detour to Glenfinnan. Surely the Pollock community can arrange to have both logging road gates open during daylight hours.

Positive: In a very remote and quiet location, Twin Deer Lodge had a unique sense of history. Whilst an old building at heart, Nicoletta has added modern and stylish touches to create a lovely space for a break from routine.

Negative: Our only comment would be, if fully occupied, another comfy seat in the lounge would be important.
