Positive: Tom has done a really sympathetic and tasteful restoration of the property. All of the rooms are wonderfully decorated and all the beds really comfy. The kitchen is very functional and well fitted out. The finishes across the property are fabulous and the bar area is just spectacular. The property is perfect for friends and family to gather and spend quality time together. The added bonus of having a fully kitted out functional bar was both a nice gimmick but also actually a perfect addition given that most bars in the town are quite small and there were 11 of us at one point. The fact that Tom can procure draft beer to use in the bar meant that we probably saved over €300 being our own pub over going to the local establishments, plus the fun factor it brings made it all the more special.

Negative: Nothing, only that I don’t own it!!

Positive: We enjoyed the ability to have 12 people stay and plenty of room to cook food, hang out and enjoy the pub feel, almost like a private party venue. Facilities were very modern while keeping the older pub-like feel. Good communication by the host, detailed information on all the establishments in the town of Cahersiveen. All the beds were new and very comfortable. Cahersiveen town has some beautiful scenery and the location of the property is nicely located to access everything you need. Overall, we had a great stay and will be back again.

Positive: Incredible spot! Every single little detail is just perfect -- from the amazing pub downstairs to the spacious living quarters upstairs. This is hands down the best home we've ever stayed in! We also appreciated Tom's flexibility with us on an early check-in and setting us up with a keg of Guinness. The home is perfectly located. We loved being in Cahersiveen -- a great jumping off point for all Ring of Kerry sights. We were blessed with beautiful weather and hiked the nearby Castlequin Loop which provided the most amazing views!!

Positive: Everything at this property has been thoughtfully considered by Tom for guests enjoyment and comfort. We absolutely loved our stay here, the location is excellent - right on the main street, the beds and rooms are more comfortable than many 5 star hotels we have been to and the working bar was such an enjoyable feature for our group that we barely left the property all weekend. Tom is an amazing host, he is helpful and laid back and was responsive to any message we sent. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a fun low key weekend with friends.
