Positive: Fabulous location and views. Well equipped kitchen. Very dog friendly. Close to the Fish Cottage restaurant which is excellent. On the bus route for Whitby. It was almost perfect……

Negative: The king size bed is firm and it gave me a bad back. It’s such a shame as I’ve stayed in luxury cottages and the mattress has been comfortable and top quality. I didn’t get a good night sleep here. The wet room flooded when the shower was used. We had to put towels down to stop the water going into the bedroom. Possible blocked drain.
