Negative: It could’ve been cleaner.

Summary: We just stopped for the night on a road trip so it was good enough to hangout relax and sleep!

Positive: I liked the location, very peaceful and the environment was pretty comfortable. The staff were very nice as well

Negative: A few things i can say wouldnt hurt to improve. 1 being the hot water heater, the hot water dosent stay hot long and some days it can be annoying after a day of work or outdoors. 2 being the wifi if youre expecting to stream videos/entertainment its going to be difficult with the buffering i had to use my phones Hotspot. 3 the lady bug infestation, they arent harmful but they can be annoying if youre sitting to eat and you have them flying around the lights.. i would have to kill them daily after returning it looked like they were coming from the opening of the ceiling fan bezel.. overall it wasnt a bad stay

Negative: I had a 2 bedroom cabin with only one tv and 3 kids. There should be tvs in the rooms for the guest that would make it a 10 for me.

Positive: The location was very good - just off the main highway. The people i spoke to were nice. the room was clean. It had nice views of the lake. Cell phone service was excellent.

Negative: We arrived late in the evening. The main office was dark, including the front porch. The parking/driving area was so dark we couldn't tell the grass from the pavement. The cabins are in little clusters. the numbers are difficult to see as they are not lit, just on the side of the buildings. I had looked on line for a map but could not find any but satellite. We had to ask several people who were staying there to help us find our cabin. It was on the other side of the park - Cabin 1. A nice man showed us his map and then we realized there might be one on the very dark porch. There was but I had to use my cell phone flash light to see it. Then the cabin was upstairs. No one mentioned that nor asked if we were handicapped ( we aren't - thank goodness.) The number still could not be seen until we were up the stairs next to the door. The cabin was one of the salvaged homes from 18-1900's. The floors were slanted to the point it made me feel dizzy and off balance. The tub/shower combo was sunken into the floor. I refused to attempt to use it as I had fallen the week before. there were two large grab bars but no thank you. Here's the thing - if they had better lighting and some signage and bothered to ask me any questions when I talked to them or shared with me where the cabin was, this would have been a really easy trip.
