Positive: We liked the actual view from the property, gardens, personal jacuzzi, own washing machine, aircon within villa.

Negative: Travelling to the villa was an hour 30mins drive from Porto Airport and is very high up in the hills. When we arrived there was no-one to greet us with the keys, no instructions were sent via email or booking.com prior. Only with the help of our driver who spoke Portuguese to the owner after we called, asked them how do we get access to villa or else we would've been stuck because they do not speak any English. The owners told driver they were supposed to send us an email with lockbox combination before our arrival but they forgot! There were no instructions on how to use the cooker, we texted owner who sent us their cleaner next day to show us but she doesn't speak English & we had to used Google Translate to talk to her, also we didn't expect not to have a kettle for boiling water to make baby milk bottles, no high chair & no iron for our clothes. Only after requesting these things were they provided 72hrs into our stay. Unable to book Uber service entire length of stay to take us into nearest town, Villa Verde because they wont come out to villa location! Cab Service number provided at villa was very expensive and they spoke little to no English & were rude. Due to that fact my husband and I missed celebrating with our son at his Birthday dinner in Braga. The pictures of villa rooms were very misleading because the mezzanine bedroom you cannot stand up in it, children's bedroom with bunk beds is very small and both had cobwebs which we had to clean ourselves before using the rooms.

Summary: Would NOT recommend a family to stay here without a car as you'll feel stranded up there.
