Positive: Our family absolutely loved our stay at Turanga Heights in Gisborne. The sweeping ocean, city, and rural views were stunning, with beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and birdsong from Kererū and Tūī each morning. The house is spacious, comfortable, and full of character, with a cool retro vibe, vintage turntable, and amazing artwork throughout. The private garden and sunset seating overlooking Young Nick’s Head made it the perfect place to relax. A short walk down through the property led us to Kaiti Beach, where we felt like we had our own private beach. Just 5 minutes from town, it was the perfect base for exploring. We came looking for accommodation and found somewhere truly special — we’ll definitely be back!

Positive: Wow! Stunning home with epic views over the city and a few steps from the backyard you can look over to Young Nick's Head and its only a short walk to bottom of Kaiti Hill. Everything you need in the home, roomy, super comfy and tastefully styled for a lovely stay. Also connected to a downstairs separate gorgeous wee one bed unit which also has a view to the city. Would definitely stay again. Super hosts! A+.

Positive: A wonderful stay. The views are incredible. Loads of space to relax and restore. Very comfortable, and quiet. Would be happy to stay forever!!! Thanks Kate and Adrian.

Negative: Be prepared for wonderful sea views but due to being on a hill it's not what you might visualize as beachfront. Not an easy stroll! But easy peasy drive to 3 fabulous beaches.

Summary: Great place for your soul on your own, or for a small group gathering.
