Positive: This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! The buildings are incredible, real works of art Everyone is so friendly and helpful, we have dietary requirements (inclusing celiac), which we wete xobcerned about for travel, we ended up eating here most nights instead of anywhere else because rhey took such good care of us. 11/10, wouls come back anytime

Positive: I stayed with my partner for 2 nights and we absolutely loved this place! Everyone who works here is lovely and helpful. The treehouses are beautifully made and well thought out. Not a drop of water got in during a very heavy storm. We paid to have dinner here both nights and the food was delicious. WiFi works well in the communal areas and it was nice to have a simple breakfast included.

Positive: We couldn’t be more grateful for the experience we had at Chris and Ashley’s. Not only were they kind and gracious hosts but the property was incredible. The property was hand built by Chris and family and can tell that Chris is a well experienced carpenter with attention to detail and the beautiful wood used throughout the property. Each part of the treehouses are intertwined into the trees themselves and it feels like the fantasy you dream of for a treehouse stay. They were also helpful to learn the island and suggested areas we could go for a buffet and traditional Tongan dance show at the Katea Retreat. There is WiFi in the common area and a kitchen for use for the guests. Their son even taught us how to open the coconuts so we could enjoy the water and the fruit inside. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone considering the idea and will surely be back as soon as we can. Thank you, Chris and Ashley!

Negative: Like most of the island, the mosquitos are prevalent. Make sure to pack your bug spray.

Positive: Incredibly unique place, with very nice hosts who were happy to help with any questions about the place and the island. It's only about half an hour outside town, and easy to travel to with a rental car. Also close to some of the attractions on the Eastern part of the island. Really love this place!

Positive: We loved everything about this property! A truly unique and magical property. The entire property is like something out of a fairytale (think fern gully) and its amazing energy is felt while you’re there. The hosts are wonderful too - an enthusiasm and passion I’ve not seen in a while.

Negative: there are a few mosquitoes, but that is to be expected when you’re literally living in a tree!
