Positive: The property was very cosy, easily accessible.

Negative: Wasn’t clear from the street where to turn into. Parking spot at Evora cottage was tricky to manoeuvre especially to turn around to drive up the long driveway.

Summary: The cottage was very cosy and all amenities were in working order. A lovely spot for a romantic weekend.

Positive: The place was lovely. There were cute little glasses of Port and chocolate on arrival. Very clean and secluded in nature.

Negative: The mattress was springy and lumpy. We were both uncomfortable.

Negative: Very small kitchen area, outside could use a clean up. The place would improve with some updates. Bit run down, curtains don’t work, old bed, outlook is cobwebs on windows. Outdated.

Positive: Location in Mt Dandenong was good. Excellent forest view from living room and bathroom windows. Very comfortable bed and good linen. Great for observing the nocturnal life if you are keen to get out and wander outdoors at night with a torch.

Negative: A small number of issues that were relayed directly to Tudor Cottages regarding maintenance. They were responsive via text.

Positive: I loved the quiet. The sound of the road was almost impossible to hear, so I got the full beauty of the wind in the trees and the birdsong- oh, and the thunderous tapdancing on the roof of what could only be a very big possum L0L! He only scampered around for bout 10 seconds, so all good.

Negative: I have to say that for me, the toilet was too close to the wall, which made for some awkward, sideways shennanigans! Just about 30cm or so further away would have been so much more comfortable.

Summary: Loved it, and will be looking forward to staying there again. It was hard to leave.
