Positive: We loved the location. The house was beautifully presented, clean and luxurious. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. All the little details were taken care of and we were presented with a cheese hamper and wine arrival. Hosts were polite and very welcoming. The gardens and grounds are magical

Positive: The location and setting were stunning. It was perfect for a quiet getaway from the city with our small family. We loved the hot tub as a bonus, and a lovely welcome bottle of wine and cheese.

Negative: The house was FREEZING on arrival, and it took 2 hours to warm it up as no heating was on - could have been nice to turn it on given we are ending winter. Some need for repairs (a chair in the kitchen, the tap in the upstairs ensuite). We did have an issue as the dishwasher didn't work and was told someone would be around to fix it while we were out.. unfortunately that didn't happen which was disappointing and a let down, and we were asked to trouble shoot ourselves.

Summary: Quiet stay and with some repairs would be perfect!
