Positive: The breakfast was second to none. The house and our sleeping quarters were very tastefully decorated. Irene who manages the property welcomed and communicated with guests in English and Denise, the property owner, welcomed us in French. The property is well situated, at walking distance of the old town and activities, but on the other side of the canal so it is calm and quiet.

Negative: Ideal for couples. While children are certainly welcomed and there is no shortage of books and movies, other pousadas nearby may have soccer pitches, volleyball courts, ping pong tables or other amenities for teenagers or children.

Summary: Luxury comfort in a quiet area within walking distance of all that Paraty has to offer.

Positive: The heart and soul of this place is Irene, she couldn't do enough to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Breakfasts were delicious and there was something different to try every day.

Negative: The building is a little difficult to find as there are (at least) 2 different numbering systems on the street - if on foot cross on the green pedestrian footbridge then turn right towards the sea

Positive: Everything was absolutely amazing! The suite was incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped to the highest standards. The staff was outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent. Having traveled extensively across Brazil, I can confidently say this is one of the best value-for-money stays I’ve experienced!
