Positive: Check in easy, lift to floor, room was very nice

Negative: At check in we were informed there was a £50 damage waiver, this wasnt noted at the time of booking

Positive: The room layout was really nice, the bed was comfortable.

Negative: The bathroom is tiny, definitely not made for tall or big people. The stairs creak really loud when going up or down them to get to your bed. There was blood or some sort of red substance on the curtain, I paid for a balcony room and wasn’t even allowed on to the balcony. When I arrived after already paying he then asked for another £50 for a ‘security’ deposit. I don’t know if I’ll get it back but I HAVE taken pictures/videos from when I arrived and when I left proving I left it clean and did no damage. The reception says it’s available all the time but no one’s ever there, I seen someone ONCE in two days. The shower was rusted and was almost falling off the wall. Also I’m one hundred percent certain a previous occupant peed on the floor as it stunk and was a large yellow patch near the bathroom.

Negative: It was very noisy got woken up several times during both nights by banging doors and people shouting

Positive: the room we were in was nice for the price.

Negative: the look of the hotel from the outside we thought we were in the wrong place as it looked abandoned. the stairs up the the other floors have smashed windows and an awful smell. the room we were in had a ripped curtain and stains on the wall and headboard.
