Positive: Good location.

Negative: Couch was stained and dirty; we had to put down a duvet to sit on it. Kitchen drain and bathroom stunk badly. Random hairs left around the apartment when we checked in. Very minimal kitchen supplies. AC didn’t have cool air so we were so hot sleeping in the loft in the 31C heat!

Summary: Fine for 2 days but wouldn’t stay again.

Positive: The location was fine and the apartment was spacious for a family of 4. The sheets were clean.

Negative: It did not have good ventilation so it smelled stale. The air conditioner did not keep the space cool and this didn’t help with the ventilation either. We visited in October, so not terribly hot, but inside the apartment felt too warm and stuffy. There was a lot of dust and hair everywhere. The futon mats were badly stained though not smelly, thankfully. There was food, chopsticks and dust behind the sofa which we noticed when we pulled it out to use as a bed.

Summary: Though the space was good for our family, it was not clean enough for me.

Positive: About 600m to the nearest subway station.And at the station were plenty of restaurants and shops Hostel was clean and utensits n stuff of a hostel were well supplied.

Negative: Entry was a pain. The.tablet supplied at the entrance to hostel for us to key in booking details in ordercto get our room no and key pin was not working. On the day we left it was still not working!. We had to get help of a local man to call. . To get to the loft was a big risk as the ladder provided was not firm and vertical and so we didn't bother. On the bottom level can basically sleep 2, 1 on the sofa bed and 1 on a double stacker bed placed over the sofa bed. To get the 3rd bed (futon) that we needed we had to climb up the loft once. Also the futon I carried down could only be place on the narrow sitting area to sleep. Laid in the middle was a dining table, said you are not allowed to shift any furniture (a big warning poster placed on the wall) Can recommend to stay if more than 2 people and / with young children/old adults.

Positive: The house has a big roof ! All was perfect with 'ew technology (bathroom) Except for the kitchen but it is ok. It was perfect. Be ready to walk a little bit but still.. I was on Holliday

Positive: Just stayed for one night because I was seeing a kabuki at the Hakata-za and this location was perfect. Would consider staying here again if I came back for a longer stay due to the amenities and the location. Check-in was with a tablet and went quite smoothly. They were also able to get the room ready an hour early for us (for a small fee) so we could drop off our luggage before the show, rather than storing them in coin lockers.

Negative: I appreciate that they were able to do an early check in for us, though they were not able to confirm until the day of whether or not this would be possible. It would have been less worrisome for me if they were able to confirm sooner.

Positive: The location was excellant. We were near a few restaurants but also not far from the city center. Everything you need is in walking distance and the Apt. isnt far from the Train station or Airport either.

Negative: It was quite creative to charge all mobile phones at the same time.

Positive: As a budget traveller, price per day here was the real winner! It was almost equivalent to the rate of a capsule stay. It can comfortably accommodate 3 adults or maybe 2 adults and 2 kids. It was just me and my son who stayed here for 12 nights so the unit was so spacious for us. Comparing it with the budget hotel where we stayed in Nagoya and the Airbnbs where we stayed in Tokyo and Osaka, this one has more than enough space for big luggages. Favorites: 1.Washing machine - Laundry detergent was provided. We should have just brought 5 sets of clothing since we can wash and dry them here anyway. 2.Closet with hangers 3.Extension cord for our chargers 4.Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and dishwashing liquid were also provided. 5. We were able to use the refrigerator, microwave, kettle and induction cooker for heating/cooking our supermarket finds. 6. When I thought we ran out of trash bags, owner provided more. 7. It was less than 10-minute walk to subway and bus stations. 8. Place was quiet with nearby konbinis - Lawson, Family Mart and 7-11. We also went once to Aeon MaxValu Express which is a small supermarket which has good deals on meals at night. 2L mineral water is also the cheapest there.

Negative: More of areas for improvement but definitely not deal breakers: 1. Fan and window at the mezzanine floor were a bit dusty. 2. For long stay guests, it would be good to have an option to pay for cleaning and change of sheets. Nonetheless, we just washed the blankets and pillowcases using the washing machine. 3. Tablet for check-in was not working when we arrived. Our flight arrival was late and it was raining so it didn't help that we had this glitch. Good thing someone replied within 30 minutes when I asked for assistance via the messaging app. 4. Instead of the small pedestal, it would help to have a dresser where long stay guests could organize their clothes. Additionally, there were neighbors upstairs who were quite noisy at night and we could hear their loud footsteps. Not the owner's fault though so we didn't complain anymore but just a heads up that this happens but still tolerable. Overall, it was a great stay!

Positive: Really good location, lots of things that were walkable in the area including the station, shopping, and food! Appreciated the laundry machine as well, and there was a coin laundry if I needed to dry things fast!

Negative: After the first night, there was the smell of still water coming from the kitchen sink that wouldn't go away even after pouring water, etc. Avoided the little kitchen area, but otherwise, it was perfect!

Positive: Location was okay. Our taxi driver had difficulty finding it though. A reasonable walk to the station/subway. Lawsons and 7Eleven convenience stores around the corner. We had cooking facilities - stove, microwave, kettle. The bathroom and laundry were good and the bathroom had a drying function which was great for drying our washing.

Negative: We were not aware that it was unmanned check in until the morning of our arrival when we received 3 emails mostly in Japanese about the process. Google translate would only translate the first page so we had to do each page separately to answer the questions. Once done however, it all worked perfectly when we got there. The apartment was very dark, almost no natural light. We had to turn lights on the whole time. The balcony was a space about 2 metres by 1 metre surrounded by a high wall. No view , just a besser brick wall. We also were not aware of the bedding arrangements. Downstairs a single bunk bed over a fold out divan. Up a 3.5 metre ladder was a loft bedroom with 3 futon mattresses. We are a couple in our late 60s. Ladders are not good for us. My husband slept in the top bunk. He climbed upstairs and got a futon and bedding which I spread out on the divan. Although there were cooking facilities, the only equipment was 1 frypan, 1 saucepan and 5 plastic cups. There were no plates, no glasses, no cutlery or chopsticks. No bowls. We had to buy paper plates at the local convenience store. Out of the 6 places we stayed in Japan it was the most expensive and the least attractive.

Summary: Spacious but lacking in cooking facilities and bedding arrangements.
