Positive: The rural setting is so lovely and my kids really enjoyed the woodlands nearby. The cottage is immaculate and comfortable and perfectly appointed. We are already talking about a return visit. Location was perfect for us. We were a short drive to a gorgeous beach, not very far from Tintagel and the other sights we wanted to see while in Cornwall. The cottage was cozy and perfect for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable and it had all the amenities we needed.

Negative: Only that I didn’t plan to be there longer.

Negative: It was a bit remote for us 18 miles driving to nip to supermarket. Our own fault I should have been more diligent on booking. Also once booked couldn’t cancel which I probably won’t do again.

Positive: Loved this accommodation. Clean, lovely cottage, tidy, all the facilities you need were provided including the finer details I.e tea, coffee, milk etc. Pet friendly and great games room. Perfect little getaway, an absolute gem. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Positive: We stayed in the Braddon and it was a lovely little cottage. Bed and sofas very comfortable.

Negative: The blinds in the master bedroom are filthy and need a clean. The bed was very creaky so it kept me and my little girl up when my partner was turning in the night. The boiler kept switching off, the staff did come to help fix this but it kept going off which meant my little girl got cold. You have to pay for coffee pods if you want to use the coffee machine, I think this should be included in the price.

Positive: The hosts were very helpful during our arrival and assisted with the keys and provided all necessary amenities details. The house was clean, and a lovely Christmas tree was lit up nicely. The peaceful surroundings and well-maintained garden added to the charm of our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare our meals. We also appreciated the comfortable bedding and cozy atmosphere throughout the house. We would love to visit again during the summer as we had a very short stay this time.

Negative: There was only one minor challenge during our enjoyable stay was driving in dense fog with limited visibility, and the slightly remote location, which took us some time to reach.

Summary: It was a quiescent stay during christmas and our first time to Bude- Cornwall.
