Positive: We stayed for three nights, loved the location, short drive from local areas we wanted to visit yet felt away from it all. Immaculately kept property. High end furnishings and level of comfort. Large bedroom with comfortable large bed, quality bedding, large open plan living space with fully fitted kitchen area and dinning space, large bathroom with beautiful free standing bath. There is a covered seating area in the field opposite to the property which you have access to, sadly we did not have chance to use it as we had busy days and the evenings were bitterly cold. We plan to return in better weather. This really is a lovely holiday rental.

Negative: The property is accessed via steps to the side of the owners property then a spiral staircase which was difficult to get the cases up, taking a smaller holdall would have been easier. We had ice and snow when we visited which did not help. All doable but just be aware. As the rental property is at the top level of the owner's property it does not have large windows to make the most of the views (lots of quality Velux and smaller windows ), minor point but it is in such a truly beautiful area it would have been a bonus to see from living space (there is however great outdoor space).

Positive: Beautiful property, very cosy and comfortable. Particular mention to the bed that was amazingly comfortable. Very spacious, had everything you could need. Would recommend.

Negative: Some noise from adjoining buildings but not disruptive. Would have loved a baking tray or foil etc for the oven but otherwise, nothing.

Summary: Beautiful space in a lovely rural location close to everything the Peak District has to offer.

Positive: Everything was perfect. I couldn’t have styled the accommodation better myself. It was spacious and comfortable. There was a great pub - The Pheasant- nearby which did an excellent Sunday roast. Deborah, the owner, was really friendly and welcoming.

Positive: Lovely location and such an amazing apartment, so cosy and welcoming. Loved the extra large and very comfy bed and all the finishing touches, definitely one of the best if not the best place I have stayed in. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back for longer next time.

Positive: Beautiful location, a really comprehensive guest book that answered all our questions. Really well laid out throughout the apartment and the design was lovely. The free standing bath was luxurious and a great location to travel from into the peaks.

Negative: On the main day of our stay there was some loud garden work that took most of the day. Was a bit of a buzz kill as we’d planned to stay in the apartment for Saturday due to health reasons, however we had to go out to escape the noise.

Summary: Communicative and helpful host, a little gem that makes a good home base for exploring the peaks.

Positive: My partner and I had a great weekend spent here. The apartment it just beautiful, very welcoming and incredibly well decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable, both TVs had easy to use streaming services. The games were a great added touch. Deborah was a really kind and thoughtful host. Would definitely stay again.

Negative: The one thing missing from the kitchen was cooking oil, but we were otherwise very well provided for.
